Kidsgrove Station Taxi
Kidsgrove station on Station Road is a junction, with trains towards Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe and Manchester. East Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway and Northern all call here. Manchester Piccadilly is under an hour away via Macclesfield and Stockport, and trains also run south towards Stafford.
The station has no taxi rank or cab office, so a car needs to be booked in advance. The ticket office also opens mornings only, Monday to Saturday. For an early departure or a late arrival, a pre-booked pickup timed to your train is the reliable option.
Taxi to Mow Cop and the Ridge Villages
Mow Cop Castle, the 18th-century folly on the ridge above Kidsgrove, marks the Staffordshire and Cheshire border and is looked after by the National Trust. It’s a popular walking spot, but the car park is small.

Kidsgrove Airport Taxi
Manchester Airport is the closest major airport to Kidsgrove, usually 45 minutes to an hour away depending on M6 traffic. Most airlines there now use Terminal 2, and Ryanair uses Terminal 3.
