Symonds Yat West sits on the Herefordshire side of the River Wye, and Symonds Yat East is on the Gloucestershire side. On foot, the two are linked by hand-pulled ferries. By road, however, it’s a drive of around five miles upstream via Huntsham Bridge.

Getting Around for Visitors
Yat Rock, above Symonds Yat East, is the area’s best-known viewpoint, with a car park and café at the top. Riverside walks, the Wye Valley Walk and canoe trips all start close by.
